Katie Schneider is currently an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at Bunsold Middle School in Marysville. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s in English and earned a Master’s degree in Middle Childhood Education at Otterbein University. She has been a teacher for 15 years with Marysville Schools, and in that time, has taught 5th grade ELA, 7th grade ELA, 7th grade Social Studies, and 8th grade Social Studies.

Katie lives in Lewis Center with her husband, Phil, and her two children, Jackson (12) and Delaney (9). She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats, Frost and Poe (named after two of her favorite poets!)  We are so happy to have her as a speaker at our first TEDxYouth event!
